You might choose an assessment because…

1. Strengthen Self-Identity and Acceptance

  • An assessment can affirm a sense of identity, offering relief and a sense of belonging within the broader neurodivergent community.
  • Many adults seek assessments to gain clarity on lifelong patterns of behaviour, thinking, and feeling. Learning that these differences are a natural part of a neurodiverse brain can be incredibly validating, enhancing self-compassion and acceptance.

2. Build Tailored Strategies for Everyday Success

  • Understanding your neurodiversity enables you to create strategies that work with your brain, not against it. With an assessment, you gain personalised guidance on structuring your life, relationships, work, and self-care routines in a way that brings out your strengths.

3. Enhance Relationships and Communication

  • Knowing your neurodiverse profile can be invaluable in navigating relationships, as it helps you and your loved ones understand how your brain processes information, communicates, and responds to stress.

4. Understand Your Own Needs and Embrace Support

  • Many adults struggle with feeling misunderstood. An assessment can shed light on needs you may not have fully understood before, such as sensory preferences, executive functioning support, or ways to manage emotional regulation.

How it Works

01.

Book the assessment

Get in touch with us via phone (02 5016 1101) or book online.

02.

Complete the intake

When booking we will send you an intake assessment. This will gather your personal details, as well as involve a couple of screeners for completion and discussion at the initial consult.

03.

Initial consult

This appointment is to gather history, review your goals in seeking the assessment and provide feedback on the screeners. We will then tailor the assessment to your needs and goals.

This appointment fee is $200, which is subtracted from the total assessment cost should you proceed.

If an assessment is not indicated following review of screeners, discussion and goal review, we will tell you and advise of an appropriate course of action.

04.

The Assessment

Following the initial consult you will participate in 1-2 additional assessment sessions and complete relevant psychometrics.

05.

Report or Letter + Feedback

Depending on your goals and preference, we will provide a report or letter with the assessment outcomes. This will be delivered in a 30 minute feedback appointment where you will be able to ask questions and discuss strategies etc.
