Assessment Services
At Regenerative Psychology, our assessment services are designed to provide clarity, direction, and support for adults seeking to better understand their mental health, neurodivergence, or wellbeing needs. All assessments are conducted via secure telehealth, with a strong focus on accessibility for regional and rural communities.

Who This Is For
Our assessment services are designed for:
- Adults living in rural, regional, or remote Australia seeking clarity or diagnosis for neurodivergence (ADHD, autism).
- Individuals who require psychological clearance for firearms licences (NSW only).
- People looking for validation, insight, and tailored recommendations rather than generic labels.
- Those who value compassionate, neuro-affirming, trauma-informed, and context-aware psychological care.
Our Assessment Services
Adult ADHD Assessment
Our ADHD assessments explore lifelong attention, executive functioning, emotional regulation, and behavioural patterns. You’ll receive a clear diagnostic outcome alongside practical, strengths-focused recommendations for everyday life, work, and wellbeing.
Important: Psychologists cannot prescribe medication or make medication recommendations. If you are seeking stimulant medication or exploring medication options, you will need to book with a psychiatrist or GP. Our reports can support those discussions but cannot replace a medical assessment.
Adult Autism Assessment
Our Autism assessments are gentle, affirming, and grounded in lived-experience awareness. We explore masking, sensory needs, communication patterns, and developmental history to provide a clear diagnostic understanding.
You’ll receive a detailed report, a collaborative feedback session, and recommendations tailored to your environment, strengths, and support needs.
Combined ADHD + Autism Assessment
For many adults, both ADHD and Autism traits may overlap or interact, and a combined assessment provides the clearest picture. This process explores attention, executive functioning, sensory profiles, communication patterns, masking, emotional regulation, and developmental history together.
You’ll receive an integrated diagnostic outcome (if applicable), a comprehensive written report, and tailored recommendations that reflect the full complexity of your strengths, needs, and lived experience.
Medication guidance is not provided by psychologists, please see a psychiatrist or GP if you wish to discuss medication options.
Firearms Risk Assessment
We provide respectful, structured psychological assessments for firearms licensing and renewal. Our approach is objective, evidence-based, and focused on supporting safe, informed decision-making for both individuals and regulatory bodies.
Assessments include a clinical interview, risk-screening tools, relevant background history, and a formal written report suitable for licensing authorities.
Mental Health Assessment
Our Mental Health Assessments provide thorough diagnostic evaluation for mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma-related conditions, and other complex mental health presentations. Using structured clinical interviews such as the SCID-5-CV or DIAMOND, we aim to provide clear, reliable diagnostic outcomes.
These assessments are suitable for individuals seeking confirmation of a diagnosis, support with treatment planning, or documentation for personal understanding or care coordination. Assessments are available for people aged 16+ and include a detailed written report.
Personality Assessment
Our Personality Assessments are designed to evaluate enduring patterns of thinking, emotional regulation, interpersonal functioning, and behaviour that may meet criteria for a personality disorder. These assessments support individuals seeking formal diagnosis, greater self-understanding, or clarity around long-standing relational or emotional difficulties.
We use structured, evidence-based diagnostic interviews such as the SCID-5-PD to ensure accurate and clinically sound assessment. Assessments are available for people aged 16 and over and include a comprehensive written report, with a feedback session offered where appropriate to discuss findings and next steps.
Integrated Diagnostic Assessment
For some individuals, experiences span both personality patterns and mental health conditions. Our Integrated Diagnostic Assessments combine personality and mental health evaluation into a single, cohesive assessment process.
This approach allows for a more nuanced understanding where symptoms overlap, evolve, or have been previously difficult to categorise. Using a combination of structured diagnostic tools, we provide clear formulation, diagnostic clarity, and practical recommendations tailored to the individual.
