Meet Pinar
Pinar Karabulut
Registered Psychologist
I am a registered Psychologist with 13 years of specialised experience in workplace mental health. Over the course of my career, I have worked as an in house adviser for financial institutions in both Australia and the UK, partnering with HR, legal, and leadership teams to assess and respond to risks related to excessive job demands, bullying and harassment, and other common occupational mental health issues. I balance clinical rigour with organisational realities, so my recommendations are evidence based and practically implementable.
Clinically, I predominantly use Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). I integrate these modalities within a person centred, trauma informed framework to ensure care is respectful, collaborative, and tailored to each person’s strengths and context. I work with all age groups presenting with anxiety, depressive disorders, trauma, and eating disorders. It is important to me that my clients feel heard and are working towards goals that are meaningful to them.
Outside clinical work I practise yoga, continue formal study of mindfulness practices and ancient philosophies, cycle around beautiful parks, and travel to broaden my perspective and wellbeing toolkit.
Pinar is fluent in English and Turkish.
