If you’re new to therapy or have previous experience in therapy, trust that there is something transformative about having someone see and hear you. There is something transformative about saying things aloud and sharing your story. If you’ve found yourself to be deeply trapped within the prison of thought at times, consider how good it may feel to meet a mind that hears you and a heart that reassures you.

I’m deeply empathic and I wholeheartedly care about people. My work is devoted to supporting you to foster a sense of aliveness, courage, meaningful connection and joy. I offer curiosity, compassion and hope to those feeling stuck, overwhelmed, in pain, or caught in recurring patterns that feel inescapable.

I’m a Registered Psychologist with several years of experience helping adults, couples and adolescents move through life experiences and challenges, some including: depression, anxiety and stress, interpersonal, relationship and marital difficulties, family of origin issues, trauma, workplace challenges, burnout, grief and loss, insomnia and sleep difficulties, spiritual and religious dissonance, attachment issues and emotional dysregulation, cultural identity challenges, shame and guilt, low self-esteem, domestic violence, parental ambivalence, perinatal mental health, life transitions and adjustment challenges. I’m also an experienced couple’s counsellor and I can help you and your partner through challenges including: communication and conflict resolution difficulties, infidelity and mistrust, disconnection, choosing (or not choosing) to enter parenthood, challenges with intimacy, life transitions and stress, differences in culture, identity and values, and interfaith and interracial relationship challenges.

A combination of approaches are used in my work that are thoughtfully adapted to suit the unique needs of each individual. At the heart of this process is a commitment to creating and holding a safe, warm, and nurturing space for you, one grounded in acceptance, loving kindness and free from judgement, where trust can grow and exploration can unfold at a pace that feels right for you. My approach is trauma-informed and holistic, rooted in relational and person-centred psychotherapy. I see myself as a skilful companion and as a fellow traveller, not above anyone but on a journey alongside you, guiding you toward your own inner knowing. I use a variety of evidence-based models including mindfulness-based practices, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Schema Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, The Gottman Method, and Eye-Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing therapy. Values that inform my work include: presence, compassion, curiosity, connection, courage, authenticity, integrity, trust and liberation.
